We are delighted to have been graded ‘outstanding’ in a pilot of the new ‘Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools’, which took place in September 2012. Please follow this link to view the report.
We have a current open vacancy for an SEN TA. Please see this link for more information.
Our vision is to develop an excellent school for the local community where the Christian values of faith, hope and love are evident in everything that happens and where children lay secure foundations for life. We had four applications for every place in our first year and now we have more than six applications for every place. Now that St Luke’s School is growing we are having our website rebuilt. The new website should be live by the end of May and it will include an image gallery and lots more information about the school. You can read about the history of the school and lots of information about day-to-day life at St Luke’s School in our Parents Handbook which you can download here. If you have any questions or would like to visit please contact the school office. These are some examples of what our parents think about St Luke’s School: “We really appreciate the reading time before school each day. It is very welcoming and such a calm way to start the day.” “Everything is wonderful and I’m so grateful that my child got a place here.” “We see her reading improve almost every day.” “The teachers are accessible and the headteacher’s door is always open.” “Thanks for setting up a brilliant school.” (all quotes from St Luke’s parents, Feb 2013 - feedback to Governors at the recent Parents’ Consultation Evening) St Luke’s Church of England School annual report and financial statement 31 August 2012. Please follow this link to view the report. Please note that while the information on this website was correct at the time of publication, the school is still developing and evolving and so you should check with the school office before relying on any specific information. |
