RSE Policy Consultation

Dear Parents and Carers,

As many of you will know, the new DfE statutory guidance on relationships, sex and health education must be implemented by all schools from September 2020.

St. Luke’s is a Church of England School and as such the Christian foundation and ethos are at the heart of all that we do in school. Our new RSE Policy has been written to reflect both the statutory changes and the Christian character of the school. The policy has been written in consultation with our school governors, Camden LA and the London Board of Diocesan Schools.

Our RSE teaching and learning is underpinned by our values of faith, hope and love.  RSE supports our pupils in understanding the importance of strong and stable relationships, including marriage for family life and bringing up children.

The link to our updated policy can be found here and any questions regarding this policy can be sent to the Head of School via the school office. office@stlukesschool.org.uk
