Our School Improvement Plan has been informed by review from our school improvement partners from the LDBS, our Camden Professional Partner and by on-going school review and self-evaluation led by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
For 2025-26 our key school improvement priorities are:
Quality of Education:
- Implement new handwriting progression map across all age phases.
- Develop staff knowledge of mathematics, of children’s mathematical development and of effective mathematical pedagogy.
- Continue to set ambitious targets for every child in progress meetings to ensure children remain on track to meet them. (Including SEND, PP/FSM)
- To ensure curriculum planning and quality first teaching meets the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Support Subject Leaders to review curriculum areas and plan for whole school enrichment opportunities.
Leadership & Management:
- To ensure robust safeguarding processes and procedures remain strong and are further developed so that safeguarding continues to be effective.
- To ensure that whole curriculum implementation is coherently planned, sequenced and delivered to effectively meet the needs of all learners.
- To continue to develop the effectiveness of subject Leaders so that teachers are driving improvements in teaching and learning to accelerate pupils’ progress, which leads to increased pupil attainment across the curriculum.
- To further develop the skills of the Governing Board, so that they are well-placed to monitor, support and challenge appropriately.
Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes
- To ensure coaching and mentoring is available to staff and children to ensure well-being and good mental health.
- To continue to develop high expectations of behaviour for learning.
- To continue to develop processes and systems to ensure good pupil attendance for all groups.
Christian Character and Vision:
- Hold termly meetings with clergy, school council and SLT to plan and evaluate collective worship.
- To ensure the Christian Vision is fully embedded and continues to drive all aspects of school life and enables pupils and adults to flourish
- To ensure the shared definition and understanding of spirituality is embedded so that staff plan for spiritual flourishing with increased clarity and confidence
Effectiveness of Early Years:
- To support new EYFS team to create a language rich and enabling environment that reflects the interests and diversity of our community.
- EYFS team to develop their knowledge and understanding of the key documents e.g. birth to five, development matters and the early years framework.
