Maintaining positive relationships with the parents of every child at St Luke’s CE School is extremely important to us and there are many ways in which we encourage parents to get involved in the life of the school and learn more about how we help your children to learn.
If there are specific issues you’d like to raise or discuss, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office and an appointment will be made with the relevant member of the staff.
Parent Consultations
Parent consultation evenings are held each term and give parents and teachers the opportunity to discuss your children’s progress and achievements, as well as setting targets and suggesting ways you can support them at home.
Reporting to Parents
At the end of the Summer term you will receive your child’s annual written school report. The report gives you details of their attainment and how well they are doing compared to national expectations. It also contains details of their attitudes to learning and the effort they put in during the year.
Home-School Agreement
All parents are asked to sign the school’s Home/School Agreement. This has been put into place to ensure that all the stakeholders at the school – the staff, children and parents – are all moving forwards in the same direction.
